The sudden death of the former ASUU president Prof Festus Iyayi, who died yesterday afternoon in a fatal auto crash that occurred in Lokoja while travelling to Kano for the Union’s Executive meeting
which was fixed for today Wednesday 13th of November 2013 have been postponed.
The meeting was set aside to call off or continue the four months old strike embarked upon by the union.
As a result of this sad event the Academic Staff Union of Universitie (ASUU) has hereby postponed its today’s decider meeting to a later date.
