Japan Builds See-through Public Toilet Made Of Glass

An architect based in Tokyo, Japan, came up with a unique public toilet, where people can sit on the toilet and be one with nature.

Sou Fujimoto created a bathroom inside a glass box. The toilets were placed at different areas in the city of Ichihara, Chiba.

The city is well-known for its beautiful landscapes.

The public toilets were placed in large gardens, with lush trees and vibrant flowers.
The end result was a glass cube, right in the center of a stunning garden.

However, people do not have to feel embarrassed to use the glass toilet because two privacy measures have been put in place.

For one, a 6 foot wooden fence was installed around the garden for privacy so that passing people and trains outside the garden cannot see inside.

If someone is inside the garden, the privacy issue was addressed by placing sensors on the floor.

When a person steps into the toilet the glass becomes foggy allowing the person to have privacy.
